The litter box should be cleaned EVERY DAY,not every couple of days. There's no guarantee Kasey would get along with another cat. Kittens do well in pairs but they can stress older cats. Two cats means two sets of vet bills. Who pays for the vet, you or your mom? How long before you go off to college? Will your mom be the one left to care for the cats then? Look at things through her eyes for a minute, then plan your argument.
