What is it like in Harvard?

I want to go to Harvard. First, I heard that it is a good school if you want to study law. Second, it's an Ivy League school, so it is open for top students and it is probably an excellent university (duh). Third, it would make me and my family proud to go to there, knowing that I had enough perserverence and knowledge to attend there. But I also hear that it is very hard and grueling. If you attended Harvard, please tell me how hard you have to work, what it is like there, and what you had to do to get into Harvard. If Harvard isn't the best law school, then what is a good law school?
