Can the business you work for afford this - or can you?

The Department for Transport, headed by Geoff Hoon, is proposing to allow councils to implement the staff parking charge at any premises with ten or more spaces. If the company cannot afford it, this will have to be ped onto the staff using the spaces - �350.00 per space, per year. Businesses already pay for that 'space' in their rates. Nottingham City Council has applied to implement these charges despite the economic shambles.
