Rectal bleeding? cancer?
its possible that these two items are related, but i wouldn't jump to conclusions just yet. There are alot of things that can cause blood in your stool. Diverticulitis is one of the most common reasons. This is when you get out pouching of your colon and feces gets stuck in these out pouches then it later gets infected causing irritation and eventually bleeding. I'm sure that they are running labs on your blood to see if it comes up positive for cancer. Also you could have a bleeding ulcer in your stomach that may also cause blood in your stool, especially if you have been worrying alot about these nodules. As for the nodules themselves, these could just be calcification's, old TB or just benign nodules, just wait for the results before you get all worked up.
