Which verbatim dvd-r's are better 43551 or 43549?

I go through thousands of DVDs a year and I've never found any difference in quality if I stick to the name brands. (Verbatim isn't the disk manufacturer, they're the wholesaler. They buy from just about all the manufacturers, so buying a given Verbatim number doesn't mean that you're always buying the same thing. If you have Nero, there's a program to identify the manufacturer of a given disk.)
